To answer the origional question, it does lean. Some people claim it's the pipes.  I've gutted mine(removed the stock baffles) and weighed them.  They are half the weight they were before and it still leans.  Maybe it's just not balanced.

Look at the pic below, It's clearly not level.

The bike is unbalanced (IMHO), heavy on the right -  bike leans left to find center-of-gravity.

The road slopes/drains to the right - bike leans left in relation to the road surface.

We drive on the right side of the road - bike leans left longer, farther in the turns.

I'm a left-handed - bike leans left.  ???

My politics lean WAY off-center to the right- bike leans left to compensate. :boxing:

Don't sweat it till you are dragging the left peg while going straight. That is when I knew I needed a new set of rubber on the road.

Wow y'all really got off topic there pretty quick. I guess if you mention leaning to the left in any context it might set off a rant of polictically charged discussion. Politically I lean to the right and it seems to me that most folks that ride a motorcycle may have thoughts in that direction. The politically leaning socialist Left doesn't understand the concept of freedom anyway.

I lean to the right, not sure if my bike leans one way or another... would still ride her even if she leaned to the left, just as I would still ride with others who lean to the left also.  It grieves me to see that there are those that wouldn't.

If I was the CIA I would lie too. How can they be affective if it's all common knowledge. Why does an idiot like Pillosky need to know anything that she doesn't understand anyway.

OK, since I joined in on the hijack a bit late, I admit to leaning both ways, but it is directly related to the path the road takes.

This is a common gripe on many shaft drive bikes. Some say it is the pipes or engine being off center but the best answer I have heard was i is the force of the shaft spinning causing you to lean.

May be to the right,may be to the left, it makes a differencn.

By the way can you walk a straight line?????
