I've had 1 of these horns for some time on my sport bike, and had bought a second one that never got put to use.

So, it got put on the "new" VTX1300

The most fun I have had with the steble on my bike was when some young punk was riding around our neighborhood in his truck blowing the air horn he had apparently just installed. I live on a circle so I could hear what he was doing for a while. I jumped on my bike and pulled it up to the gate of my privacy fence which is about 10' from the shoulder of the road. When he came by (luckily with his window down) I laid on the horn. The guy dang near went out the other side of the cab. Nothing like a dose of the same medicine to make a person see the light. I never heard the truck horn again.

I remember reading on another forum (VTXOA or VTX Cafe) that mounting a Stebel in the stock spot can come into contact with the front fender over severe full bottom out bump. Would hate to see you getting a dent in your fender.
