Friend went down yesterday in Austin.
« on: June 03, 2009, 09:03:14 AM »

Not sure of the exact details yet, but A guy that works with my wife is in Brackenridge hospital after an accident on his way home from work yesterday, broken collar bone and a few other injuries, but all in all seems to be ok. He was wearing all of his gear and was knocked unconscious for a while even with his full face helmet on, so he must have taken a pretty good lick.

thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Glad he had the stuff on. I was knocked out for 3 hours back in 1981, even wearing my Bell fullface. Your friend and I would both be dead, if not for that.

Speedy recovery

I had a little honey to the right of me today side by side and here she comes just taking my lane while I was in it. Lucky I had an eye on her because she was jawing on the cell, I moved to the shoulder to avoid her smaking me, the pulled up next to her and the light and politely said "how would you feel knowing you killed someone while taking on the cell"  :snapoutofit:
I could tell it grabbed her in the right place.

And let's not see anything added under this title during ROT. Lot of tools out there during that time; try not to be one, or be near one, as my wife doesn't want to see you at Brackinridge.
