Has anyone bought from Xtreme Revolution

I ordered some hi-way pegs from them on Monday 5/4/09. The page I ordered from said it would ship in 8 to 12 days. I wasn't in a big hurry so I figured what the hay and clicked submit. Today I finally got around to checking the status and the expected shipping date is 5/21/09.  :ohwow: That is 18 days from the date I ordered it before it even ships. Last time I ordered from HDL I recieved the tire 3 days after I ordered it, regular shipping.  :thumbup:
Have you ever wanted to kick your on butt?

Unless something improves in the next few days. I won't go back to   http://xtremerevolution.com/

I've ordered from them and no problems either.
You know with the economy like it is some of their vendors may have went out of business and they are having trouble getting orders filled. I have heard of that especially with auto parts.

 Have ordered from them to and have not had any problems but that was 2 years ago. ;D

Usually when it takes that long, it's cause whatever you bought, they have to put the order in from the manufacturer, once that gets placed, then it ships direct to you.  That's probably the only reason why, i'm sure they don't ship everything out 18 days late.

I have ordered fenders and tail lights from them, and I did not have any issues.  As a matter of fact, the parts arrived 3 days before the UPS tracking said they would.  That was in 05 though, and things may have changed.

Was the same way when i got my fender and lights, that was last summer.

I spoke with them, but like others said, a few years ago, at the Honda Hoot in Knoxville, TN...they seemed to be up front guys. I have also been backordered by HDL, so I guess that's just the heck of online ordering sometimes?!

Ordered from them early last year and it came in early....

Like someone else said getting parts these days can be very frustrating. I work in the aftermarket automotive parts industry and most of our vendors basically shut down last year with the economy in the tank. now that things are picking back up (for us anyways) we can't get parts for our customers because all of our vendors are out of stock....Sucks but it's the way things are right now...

I appreciate the input, I'll try to be patient. Just wish I would have checked with HDL before ordering. My problem is I don't think about that sort of stuff until I get home from work and by then everyone is closed. I honestly don't know how I ever made it without the internet. I'm spoiled now and expect to stay that way.  :c

I am now another happy shopper of Extreme Revolutions. Got my shipping notice today, exactly 8 days after the order was placed, JUST LIKE THEY SAID!  :thumbup:  :cool2:

I've ordered many different parts from HDL and some got here fast, others were a few weeks behind. It happens. Extreme Revolutions, XChoppers, and HDL are my vendors of choice. All have been great to deal with!  ;)
