metzeler 880 size?
« on: April 27, 2009, 11:02:23 AM »

Okay, will a 200/60/16 tire fit okay on an 1800 N? I know it fits the R. Just want to make sure before I get one. I know I am doing the metzeler and they have the 180/70/16 but I want to go to the 200. Any info helpful....thanks

Yes it will.   Have a buddy that has a 200mm on his rear wheel.  That's whay i'll be changing too, once my rear tires wears out.

I thought one of the guys said the 200mm made him feel like the bike wanted to stand-up when cornering.  Maybe I mis-heared him.  Thoughts?

It will fit the C and the R; I can't say beyond a doubt that it works on the N. Do a search on VTXOA.

You need to look at the clearance of it and remember that you plan on putting a hitch in their so leave room for it too.   :stickpoke:

the hitch is going to take the place of the inner fender rail so it should not effect anything as far as tire size and they have put the hitches on the inside with a car tire on.
