Installed my new Memphis Slims yesterday.. adjusted it horizontally and vertically. It looks nice, but later when I was waxing her I turned the bars to full lock either side (to check for fit) and noticed the right side, rear mounting screw head was within 1/16" of the gas tank.
I played with the up and down adjustments for a time.. some setups caused the screw head to touch the tank while others left it dang close. Reset the height to what I had it originally.
Not too pleased with these tight fits but I do like the shield (not yet ridden her to see what the comfort levels are).
Anyone else experience similar issues?
