Tech Session in San Antonio?
« on: July 25, 2006, 06:08:19 AM »

How about a tech session in San Antonio soon?  The statewide meet and greet is Aug 12 and before then, I need to flush brake fluid, coolant, change final drive lube and attempt the ground fix.  Would like to install some Progressive front springs too (order from HDL of course).  My 03 VTX 1800 Retro is about 2 years young and has 4500 miles.  The fluid change would be based on calendar - bike built 3 years ago so fluid change is due soon.  I can volunteer my garage but cool it is not.  Last week it hit 117 degrees - but with the wind chill it only felt like 116.  RD, are you out there?

I am in - I need to lengthen some wires after running them internally so they fit back up in the headlight (anyone have a good solder gun? I have the solder and extra wire).
I did my pair valve removal at the last one so I can help out with that. Can'tdo it the first weekend in August (sister's wedding) or the second (state wide meet and greet), or the last - (should close on the new house the last week of August and move in that weekend)
So, to get a date started - how about the 18th or 19th? Of course I am starting this date from Austin and without a garage to offer in either city.
