Amsoil     Heard some bad things about Royal Purple. The silicones will make your clutch slip. I don't know this for a fact but read in several posts here on the board and others about the clutch problem. Somebody else that's had the prob might chime in

I never had issues with RP. The moly content is higher than most synthetics, but is MUCH lower than that of energy-conserving oils. There's not enough to make your clutch slip. If your clutch has other problems, that might be a different matter. RP is an excellent synthetic oil.

6000 miles to Castrol Synthetic...much better shifting, slight increase in fuel economy.  Shop mechanic said 5000 is good change interval on our bikes when running synthetic.

Hey I went back to standard oil with mine. Maybe just something weird happend to me. My clutch slipped something crazy. I went to standard oil again everything was fine.
Has anyone else had this problem?
