Stimulus
« on: February 15, 2009, 02:00:52 PM »

The NY Times has an excellent online site that lists the elements of the Stimulus bill as passed and lets you click each topic for details...

In addition to the Cobra extension, there are a number of items related to health care for low income individuals and families, i.e. for people who have been laid off.

Odds are these days that you know someone who might need this info...please feel free to pass along after getting rid of my email address

My father in law emailed me the other day, from Ontario, and commented that the good thing, with all this talk in the states of the stimulus package, is that Canadians wouldn't have to hear people in the US looking north and decrying Socialism anymore. I reminded him that the people that pushed and passed this package were not the folks that criticize Canada's Socialism.

Yup, he wishes he had a different son-in-law....  O0 ;)

I heard of another site that will have all the items of where the $$$$$ will be going.  I'm not sure it's going to be up and running until after it's signed.

www.recovery.gov

I'm not 100 % sure that is it, but i think so.
