Can't Figure it Out I Need Help

I have a 03 1800c its cutting out and backfireing when i accelerate the MIL light will come on when its acting up then goes off. Tryed the Self-Test but nothing. Anybody got any ideas.

Clean and tighten battery terminals and grounds. Use dielectric grease on terminals.

Main ground to the engine, electrical system was bolted to the frame after it was painted. So the ground doesn't get a good connection, take the ground off and grind the painted area off to the metal and reattach!! This way you get a good ground!!  :thumbup:

I didn't reread it but I believe there are 6 places total. It's been a couple of years since I checked mine. Probably wouldn't hurt for me to clean them again.  :c

I knew I could count on you guys, cleaned the battery terminals, Checked the ground, put it all back together and Wam back in biz. Thanks Guys!!!!
