AGM battery source
« on: January 19, 2009, 09:45:51 PM »

Hey All,
My durn battery conked out this past weekend.....only got 7 years out of the OEM battery!  (I know, I know....that's excellent service from a battery.  I attribute the long life to having a Battery Tender on it when not riding)

Anyway, I wanted to share a source with everyone:  http://www.batterystuff.com/   I got a 310 CCA, 18 ah, AGM, made in the U. S. of A. for $75 to my door.   No tax, no shipping, no sh*t.  Every place else was higher to a LOT higher for an equivalent unit

1 year on the warranty.   In the meantime, I have been told that Batteries Plus has them for $71 (I haven't verified that, as yet), if you have one of their stores in your area.   The message did not mention if that price was before or after tax, which could make it more that the one from Batterystuff.  Of course, I would buy made in US of A things, even if I had to pay a little more!!   :flag:
